golf clash euro champions tournament text guides hole 3 driveThis is actually a nice hole to get an eagle.

With the drive you try to bounce it over the bunker on the right side to gain as much distance as possible by adding maximum topspin as well as some sidespin to the left to get a good position for the second shot where you can approach the pin directly.

[adinserter block=”4″]

golf clash euro champions tournament text guides hole 3 second shotNow you need to bounce it over the water so you hopefully got your distance in your drive to make it that far. Add some topspin (at least 3 bars to make it over the river) and use all the sidespin to the left you have to get the ball into the direction of the pin.

As I said, eagle is really doable in this Par 4 in the St. Patrick’s Day Tournament.

Drumore Links Hole #2 (Par 3)

Drive

?  Ball Marlin (Rookie/Pro) Katana (Pro/Expert)

golf clash st patricks day tournament text guide drumore links hole 1 aimYou want to use the right side of the fairway here and aim directly for the pin after you added the sidespin to the left, as you can see in the image.

This is actually a very easy hole in the St. Patrick’s Day Tournament and getting a hole-in-one isn’t that hard if you can do the over-adjustment right for playing downhill here.

Drumore Links Hole #3 (Par 5)

Drive 2nd Shot
↩ī¸ Spin 2-3 Top Max Right; 1-2 Top
â›ŗī¸ Overadjust 10% -10%
? Ball Titan (Rookie/Pro), Kingmaker (Pro/Expert)
? Club(s) Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro/Expert) Big Dawg (Rookie/Pro/Expert)

golf clash st patricks day tournament text guide drumore links hole 3 driveDon’t do any fancy trick shots here, you want to get your ball as close to the rough here as possible and there’s no way you can get it over that without using heavy overpower (risky!).

The reason why you also don’t want to play the right side is that you would need a lot of curl and it’s less consistent than simply playing the straightforward route.

golf clash st patricks day tournament text guide drumore links hole 3 second shotFor the second shot you want to attempt the green and you need distance to do that, so take the wood with the highest distance (like The Big Dawg) to get this done.

Use all the sidespin to the right and a little topspin and make your second bounce on the fairway and this will get you on the green or very close to it so you have a great chance to get the eagle here. The albatross is extremely hard due to the lack of sidespin that you would need and curl is extremely risky here.

Still, quite an easy hole in the St. Patrick’s Day Tournament 🙂

Drumore Links – Hole #4 (Par 3)

This was actually one of the weirdest Par-3 holes released last year, so in my opinion it really earned a place here in the St. Patrick’s Day Tournament 😀

You notice that every tee as a different angle towards the green so every tee comes in at a different angle, but that only affects the point where you land and the PRO+ division have a smaller part of fairway to bounce on. Always aim directly for the pin like shown below 🙂

golf clash 3rd anniversary tournament hole 7 rookie

Take note to over-adjust wind by 20% because you play massively downhill here!

Play this pretty straight forward with 2 bars of sidespin to the left and about 1-2 bars of topspin (depending on the wind).

You want to bounce it at the end of the fairway so you reach over the bunker and then bounce a second time on the other side on the fairway.

This makes the ball roll straight towards the pin with the right speed (if you don’t mess up wind adjustment!)

Drumore Links – Hole #5 (Par 4)

golf clash 3rd anniversary tournament hole 7 driveI recommend you to play this one on the right side with max sidespin to the right and 5-8 bars of topspin on your drive.

The drive here isn’t that spectacular after all and should get you as far as possible without risking to roll into the rough.

I like to jump it over the bunker, like shown in the image, because it doesn’t require using curl and I can still get into a position that will give me a nice spot for my second shot approaching the pin directly or landing safely on the green.

golf clash 3rd anniversary tournament hole 7 second shotYour second shot should approach the pin directly but there’s a catch – you will need either a club with a ton of backspin or you will need to do a rough bump.

If you have the Thorn use the backspin and play it like you can see it in the image.

If you need to do a rough bump make sure to use some bars of topspin to make sure that the ball rolls out of the rough and has enough speed to actually reach the pin.

Drumore Links Hole #6 (Par 5)

Drive 2nd Shot
↩ī¸ Spin Max Top; Max Left
â›ŗī¸ Overadjust 20% -10%
? Ball Titan (Rookie/Pro/Expert), Kingmaker (Pro/Expert)
? Club(s) Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro), Big Topper (Pro/Expert) Viper, Goliath (Rookie/Pro), Sniper (Rookie/Pro/Expert)

golf clash st patricks day tournament text guide drumore links hole 6 driveI recommend you to play this one with a good ball to reduce crosswind and get the power needed. In your drive distance is everything but as you can see there’s the small spot of fairway where you could potentially get into the rough so reducing the wind with a ball like Titan makes it a lot easier.

Play your drive with maximum distance, maximum topspin and also maximum sidespin to the left to follow the route of the fairway and get as far down there as possible and don’t forget to adjust 20% extra for playing downhill.

golf clash st patricks day tournament text guide drumore links hole 6 second shotIf you did the drive right and have a wood club with a solid distance (Sniper Level 4+ or any other higher-level wood club), you can now approach the pin directly with a rough bump to go for the albatross.

If you can play it like you can see it in the image, you don’t need to add any spin to get the speed right but keep in mind that you play uphill so you need to adjust the position 10% less for the wind.

Drumore Links Hole #7 (Par 3)

Drive 2nd Shot
↩ī¸ Spin 2 Top

Ball Basic, Marlin (Rookie), Navigator, Kingmaker (Pro/Expert)
Club(s) Backbone, Goliath (Rookie), Sniper (Pro/Expert) Backbone, Goliath (Rookie), Sniper (Pro/Expert)

Play the first shot with a wood club and get the ball bouncing over the bunker with 0 to 2 bars of topspin. Overadjust your shot with approx. 10% for the first show.

For the second shot, approach the pin with 20% overadjustment.

? Ball Quasar (Rookie/Pro) Titan, Kingmaker (Pro/Expert)
? Club(s) Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro) Quarterback (Pro/Expert) Thorn or Hornet (Rookie/Pro/Expert)

golf clash st patricks day tournament text guide drumore links hole 2 driveNormally playing your drive on the left-hand side is the better option because it’s less risky than the right side where you can easily fail and then screw up your whole attempt on this hole.

You want to do the drive with as much distance as possible and bounce over that rough line there and use all the topspin you have to get as far down the fairway to have an easy second shot where you can approach the pin directly.

golf clash st patricks day tournament text guide drumore links hole 2 second shotYour second shot is also quite easy when you bring the Thorn to the party so you have the backspin that you don’t need to do a rough bounce here. Use about 4-5 backspin and then aim to bounce on the small fairway spot. With your second shot, there’s no elevation and therefore also no extra adjustment to wind and this can even get you into the hole in your second shot, but you will have the birdie here for sure in the St. Patrick’s Day Tournament.

Drumore Links – Hole #9 (Par 5)

golf clash 3rd anniversary tournament hole 9 driveWelcome to the last hole in the St. Patrick’s Day Tournament 🙂

So, the best way to play this hole is to get on that small strip of fairway on the right side because that gives us a huge shortcut towards the green.

Use all the sidespin to the right and about 4 bars of backspin to make sure the ball gets close to the rough line but not into the rough!

Also use some curl to the right when you hit the perfect shot 🙂

golf clash 3rd anniversary tournament hole 9 second shotFor your second shot, you need all the tospin you have and there’s not too much topspin here.

If you have no tailwind you probably won’t reach the green or at least the pin but you will get close enough to make that eagle in your third hit 🙂

Good luck in the St. Patrick’s Day Tournament 🙂
