Nordic Fjords 9-Hole Cup (March 11th, 2021)
It is time for another major Golf Clash tournament for 2021. Here’s a complete text guide on each hole in the game. Make sure to read it through till the end. π
Nordic Fjords Hole #1 (Par 4)
Drive | 2nd Shot | |
---|---|---|
β©οΈ Spin | 4 Top | 4 Top |
β³οΈ Overadjust | 10% | 10% |
π Ball | Titan (Rookie), Titan, Berserker (Pro/Expert) | |
π Club(s) | Big Topper (Rookie), Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro/Expert), Apocalypse (Pro/Expert) | Big Topper (Rookie), Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro/Expert), Apocalypse (Pro/Expert) |
For this hole, you can directly approach the green. You can go over to the last part of the fairway directly. It is recommended that you use a club with 230 yards of distance. This will help you reach the green easily. Once you are there in the green, you will have a great placement for the second shot.
[adinserter block=”6″]
For the seconds shot, you can go with 4 bars of topspin to get over the water. This will leave you with a sweet spot to reach the pin.
Nordic Fjords Hole #2 (Par 3)
Drive | 2nd Shot | |
---|---|---|
β©οΈ Spin | Max Top, 1 Right, Max Curl Right | Max Back |
β³οΈ Overadjust | 20% | 10% |
π Ball | Katana (Rookie), Titan (Rookie), Kingmaker (Pro/Expert) | |
π Club(s) | Big Topper (Rookie), Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro/Expert), Apocalypse (Pro/Expert) | Thorn (Rookie/Pro/Expert), Backbone (Rookie) |
The drive here should get you to the last fairway and you need a driver with distance and topspin here, like the Big Topper or also Thor’s Hammer. Extra Mile also works if you don’t have the others upgraded decently.
You want to set your landing point on that middle island secure enough that you can use all the curl to the right possible without risking to hit it into the rough and you should be fine.
If you don’t do that you will have quite an impossible second shot approaching the green where you won’t have any option to slow down the ball enough to have a chance for the eagle.
[adinserter block=”6″]
If you got your drive to get on that final fairway, you can now go for the green directly as the fairway in front of it is really bumpy and use a short iron like the Thorn with the strong backspin to aim straight for the pin.
You can also try to dunk in directly if you don’t have a club with that much backspin.
Nordic Fjords Hole #3 (Par 5)
Drive | 2nd Shot | |
---|---|---|
β©οΈ Spin | Max Top, 2 Left | 3 Top, 2 Left |
β³οΈ Overadjust | 10% | 10% |
π Ball | Katana (Rookie/Pro/Expert) | |
π Club(s) | Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro/Expert) | Hornet (Rookie/Pro/Expert), Sniper 6+ (Pro/Expert) |
This is actually a nice hole to get an eagle.
With the drive, you try to bounce it over the bunker on the right side to gain as much distance as possible by adding maximum topspin as well as some sidespin to the left to get a good position for the second shot where you can approach the pin directly.
[adinserter block=”4″]
Now you need to bounce it over the water so you hopefully got your distance in your drive to make it that far. Add some topspin (at least 3 bars to make it over the river) and use all the sidespin to the left you have to get the ball into the direction of the pin.
As I said, eagle is really doable in this Par 4 in the Nordic Fjords 9-Hole cup.
Nordic Fjords Hole #4 (Par 3)
Drive | 2nd Shot | |
---|---|---|
β©οΈ Spin | Max Right, 1.5 Back | Max Right, 1.5 Back |
β³οΈ Overadjust | 20% | 0% |
π Ball | Titan (Rookie), Kingmaker (Rookie/Pro/Expert) | |
π Club(s) | Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro/Expert) | Big Dawg (Rookie), Sniper 7+ (Pro/Expert) |
To play the drive, you may want to use a little sidespin to make the ball stop and good sidespin to the left to get a nice line. This will help you get a good position for the second shot.
[adinserter block=”7″]
In your second shot, you can aim for the pin directly and get it in the position without any difficulty. However, you have to very cautious when choosing the clubs. This can make a huge difference in your shot. If all goes well, you could have a chance for an eagle. Practice for the shot in advance and you will have a great shot in the Nordic Fjords 9 Hole Cup.
Nordic Fjords Hole #5 (Par 5)
Drive | 2nd Shot | |
---|---|---|
β©οΈ Spin | 2 Left, 1-2 Back | 2-3 Top |
β³οΈ Overadjust | 10% | 0% |
π Ball | Titan (Rookie), Kingmaker (Rookie/Pro/Expert) | |
π Club(s) | Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro/Expert) | Big Dawg (Rookie), Sniper 7+ (Pro/Expert) |
You really want to play the drive on the left side to get into a position that can get you to the green in your second shot. The islands looks intimidating but it’s actually not that difficult to land on. You need to bounce over that bunker there with a small backspin to make the ball stop and goodΒ sidespin to the left to get a nice line.
[adinserter block=”7″]
In your second shot, you can now approach the green but aiming for the albatross here is really difficult as the fairway slopes at the middle point giving the ball a different direction from just hitting one inch more to the right or left.
Aim a little to the right of the pin as the green slopes down towards the pin, this will be better when you want to get lucky for the albatross. Use some topspin to get uphill here.
Nordic Fjords Hole #6 (Par 4)
Drive | 2nd Shot | |
---|---|---|
β©οΈ Spin | Max Top, 2 Right, 50% Curl Right | no spin |
β³οΈ Overadjust | 10% | 0% |
π Ball | Navigator/Quasar (Rookie), Titan (Pro/Expert | |
π Club(s) | Extra Mile/Quarterback (Rookie/Pro/Expert), Apocalypse (Pro/Expert) | Backbone (Rookie), Sniper (Pro/Expert) |
The tricky part here is to make the ball bounce over that rough line to the right side as you have to cross the rough line diagonally which makes it quite large from your shooting position.
Use some spin to adapt to that and also all the topspin you have to make it far enough. It’s really important that you adjust the wind correctly here so you can get close to the rough line and make it far enough.
[adinserter block=”8″]
In your second shot, you will also go close to the rough line and make the ball bounce twice on the fairway behind the bunker to slow down enough before you reach the green.
There is no spin needed when you play this shot like shown, the fairway shapes the direction of the ball towards the pin and all you need to do here is hitting the ball perfect and adjusting the wind correctly (without any extra adjustment)

This is hole similar to hole 4. A sidepin 3 ball is preferable for this shot. Use maximum right spin combined with 1 bar of backspin. The wind angle plays a major role in deciding the shot. Overadjust the shot at approx. 20%.
[adinserter block=”5″]
Plan this shot well and you will find that you are well ahead of your competitors in this 9 Hole Cup. There are many ways to play this shot, but there is nothing like the ones we mentioned here. Trust me on that.

π Ball | Marlin (Rookie), Navigator (Pro/Expert) | |
π Club(s) | Viper (Rookie) | Sniper 7+ (Rookie/Pro/Expert) |
This here is a really easy Par 4 with a great chance to get you the hole-in-one.
Let the ball bounce on the fairway once and the second bounce should be on the green with the ball guideline directing straight at the pin. The green is sloping a little bit towards the pin so also getting the direction not 100% right can still get you the hole-in-one here.

There is no need for overadjustment for the drive shot. Try and get as close to the green as possible.
With this shot, try to get as close to the pin as possible. Allow the ball to bounce on the fairway and the ball guideline should direct you towards the pin. If all goes well, you could get an eagle
