Spring Major Tournament (May 11th, 2020)

Next up is the Spring Major Tournament featuring Jamil Dunes holes:

golf clash spring major tournament holes

You might remember the holes as Dreaded Dunes from last year when these holes have been freshly integrated but quite laggy for basically all of us. It seems like the developer fixed them and hopefully we will get a cleaner tournament experience this time

Without wasting any more time, let’s jump right into the text guides for the Spring MajorTournament.

Jamil Dunes Hole #1 (Par 4)

🏐 Ball Marlin (Rookie), Katana (Pro/Expert)
🏑 Club(s) Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro/Expert) Backbone (Rookie), Thorn (Rookie/Pro/Expert), Hornet (Pro/Expert)

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 1 driveWith your drive you want to gain enough distance and get you into a position so you can use a long iron for your second shot to approach the pin directly.

You want to bounce the ball in between the bunkers on the right side and the sidespin helps to not get the trees in your way for the second shot.

In your second shot you have a very nice chance to get the eagle with approaching the pin directly using about 2-3 bars of backspin and aiming straight for the pin by bouncing on the fairway once in front of the green as you can see in the image.

You can get a nice start with this Par 4 in the Spring Major Tournament.

Jamil Dunes Hole #2 (Par 3)

Drive
↩ī¸ Spin 3-4 Right
â›ŗī¸ Overadjust 10%
🏐 Ball Quasar (Rookie), Katana (Pro/Expert)
🏑 Club(s) Backbone (Rookie) Sniper (Rookie/Pro/Expert)

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 2It’s not an easy Par 3 but the hole-in-one is also not that complicated and possible for sure here in the Spring Major Tournament.

You want to bounce on the left fairway island and use the sidespin to directly point at the pin. For that reason, you need a ball with decent sidespin and also a club with a good ball guideline to get as accurate as possible here.

Now it’s all about adjusting the wind right and you need to add 10% to your regular wind adjustment.

Jamil Dunes Hole #3 (Par 5)

Drive 2nd Shot
↩ī¸ Spin Max Top; Max Right 2-3 Back; 1-2 Right
â›ŗī¸ Overadjust 10% 0%
🏐 Ball Quasar (Rookie), Titan (Pro/Expert)
🏑 Club(s) Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro/Expert) Sniper (Rookie/Pro/Expert)

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 3 driveIf you’re looking for a good opportunity to get an albatross, this is the hole that has the best chances in the whole tournament.

Use maximum topsin and sidespin to the right and bounce over the rough to gain as much distance as possible with your drive (no need to overpower actually).

[adinserter block=”4″]

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 3 second shotNow you can approach the pin directly and I really recommend you to use the sniper here for accuracy and ball guideline and make the ball bounce twice on the fairway in front of the green to prevent coming in too hot, you won’t have that much backspin with the Sniper.

The good thing here is that the green slopes towards the pin so even not getting this shot 100% you can still get the albatross.

Jamil Dunes Hole #4 (Par 3)

Drive
↩ī¸ Spin 4 Back
â›ŗī¸ Overadjust 10%
🏐 Ball Marlin (Rookie), Katana (Pro/Expert)
🏑 Club(s) Backbone (Rookie) Goliath (Pro/Expert), Sniper (Pro/Expert)

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 4I wouldn’t recommend playing a rough bump here and the best way is taking your best long iron club and bounce it on the fairway using backspin as shown in the table above.

This will give you the right amount of speed and even if you miss the pin you will land right next to it and at least get your birdie here.

Jamil Dunes Hole #5 (Par 4)

Drive 2nd Shot
↩ī¸ Spin Max Top
â›ŗī¸ Overadjust 10% 0%
🏐 Ball Marlin (Rookie), Navigator (Rookie/Pro/Expert)
🏑 Club(s) Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro/Expert) Thorn (Rookie/Pro/Expert), Hornet (Pro/Expert)

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 5 driveGetting an eagle here in this Par 4 in The Spring Major Tournament is a must and it’s actually not difficult. In your drive you use all topspin to gain as much distance on the right side and get as close as you can to the green.

I wouldn’t actually recommend using overpower but all the topspin you have.

[adinserter block=”6″]

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 5 second shotFor the second shot keep in mind that the green slope a little bit right to left so you should aim a little bit right of the pin with a short iron that has a decent ball guideline.

Bouncing on the fairway in front of the green helps to not have to rely too much on backspin and makes it pretty smooth to get the eagle here. No spin adjustments needed.

Jamil Dunes Hole #6 (Par 5)

Drive 2nd Shot
↩ī¸ Spin 4-5 Top; 4-5 Right 2 Top
â›ŗī¸ Overadjust 10% 20%
🏐 Ball Titan (Rookie/Pro/Expert), Kingmaker (Pro/Expert)
🏑 Club(s) Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro/Expert) Big Dawg (Rookie/Pro/Expert)

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 6 driveIn your drive you want to get as much distance as possible (without needing to overpower) and use all the topspin, maximum distance and also some sidespin to the right to stay on the fairway.

This will give you a nice spot for your second shot. The reason why I wouldn’t use overpower here is that the fairway is quite narrow and if you don’t hit it perfectly, you can get into the rough and you don’t necessarily need to take that risk at this point.

[adinserter block=”7″]

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 6 second shotIn your second shot you will go for the rough bump and use a club like the Big Dawg to get the distance needed.

There’s no way to approach the pin directly but the rough bump with some topspin will get you on the green and give you the eagle here in this Par 5.

Jamil Dunes Hole #7 (Par 3)

Drive
↩ī¸ Spin 4 Back; 3 Left
â›ŗī¸ Overadjust 10%
🏐 Ball Quasar (Rookie), Katana (Pro/Expert)
🏑 Club(s) Backbone (Rookie) Goliath (Rookie/Pro/Expert), Sniper (Pro/Expert)

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 7Use a ball that gives you at least Sidespin II so you can play this Par 3 in the Spring Major Tournament on the left side, I think this is the more consistent way to go for the hole-in-one.

With the backspin and sidespin set, aim directly for the pin and even if you miss, you will get your birdie here.

The sloped fairway can make it a little tricky to get the perfect spot with the wind adjustment 100% right but it’s okay to go with the birdie here.

[adinserter block=”8″]

Jamil Dunes Hole #8 (Par 4)

Drive 2nd Shot
↩ī¸ Spin 4-5 Top 3-4 Back
â›ŗī¸ Overadjust 10% 0%
🏐 Ball Quasar (Rookie), Titan (Rookie/Pro/Expert)
🏑 Club(s) Extra Mile (Rookie/Pro/Expert) Backbone (Rookie), Sniper (Pro/Expert)

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 8 driveUse a ball with much power to get your chance for the albatross here in this Par 4 in the Spring Major Tournament, if anything below Power III you can only lay the ball and probably only go for the birdie here.

There’s not much else needed than the topspin and a clean bounce over that bunker section and make sure to do a perfect shot to stay on the fairway.

[adinserter block=”9″]

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 8 second shotIn your second shot I recommend using the long iron with backspin and bounce it on the fairway in front of the green rather than using a load of backspin and bouncing on the green directly.

Keep in mind that the green slopes down behind the pin, so you really don’t want to come in too hot to get your secure birdie if you miss the eagle.

Jamil Dunes Hole #9 (Par 5)

Drive 2nd Shot
↩ī¸ Spin Max Top; Max Right; Max Curl Right 2 Top
â›ŗī¸ Overadjust 0% 25%
🏐 Ball Katana (Rookie), Titan (Rookie/Pro/Expert), Kingmaker (Rookie/Pro/Expert)
🏑 Club(s) Quarterback (Rookie/Pro/Expert) Big Dawg (Rookie/Pro/Expert), Sniper (Rookie/Pro/Expert)

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 9 driveYou will need a driver with a good amount of curl so the Quarterback is a better choice here than the Extra Mile combined with a ball that has Sidespin III

You play the right lane with all topspin, sidespin to the right and use maximum curl to the right to get far down the fairway. The fairway slopes down right to left so without that you will get yourself into the rough.

[adinserter block=”10″]

golf clash spring major tournament text guide jamil dunes hole 9 second shotNow you can directly approach the green here and you will have a decent chance for the albatross in the Spring Major Tournament.

Use a club with a good ball guideline like the Sniper and mind that you need to add 25% to your wind adjustment because you play massively downhill.

Add a little bit of topspin and you will finish the last hole easily here.
